The R1 features Loft Sleeve Technology offering 12 different settings between standard lofts of 8° and 12° and 7 face angle options ranging from maximum closed, to neutral, to maximum open. Shot-shaping moveable weights in the sole promote neutral/straight ball flight or a distance enhancing draw. That’s a lot of options, but changes can me made quickly and they’re simple to accomplish.

The R1 incorporates a Thick-Thin Crown that provides a lower and more forward center of gravity (CG) to offer higher launch and faster ball speed. The Inverted Cone Technology milled to the inner side of the clubface expands the area that delivers the highest ball speed.

New also for 2013 are the “face paint” crown graphics which, along with the contrasting black clubface, actually promote easier alignment.
