There's long and then there's RocketBallz long! TaylorMade tends to be pretty straight-forward brand but when developers decided to switch up the name-game and actually call it RocketBallz like what it had been referred to during practice rounds, it was a game changer. It’s not just the size that is earning it attention. Dustin Johnson is credited as the first TaylorMade player to use the word rocket. TaylorMade’s RocketBallz Fairways alone deliver up to a 17-yard gain for better players. These Tour Performance Fairway Woods combine Rocketballz technology with increased face size and low center of gravity, advanced playability features and a lightweight shaft and grip. The combination of these elements promotes a remarkable increase in distance. The RocketBallz Tour Fairway Wood has a similar shape and face size to the standard but a slightly smaller address profile, a more open face angle and toe weighted center of gravity. It comes equipped with a tour-grade shaft that’s heavier and stiffer compared to the stock shaft in the standard Rocketballz fairways.- Speed pocket in the sole boosts ball speed dramatically for more distance
